Abstract:

A core member for a vacuum insulation material, the core member including 99 wt% to 100 wt% of glass fibers and 0 wt% to 1 wt% of a carbonized binder, and a vacuum insulation material including the same are provided. Also provided is a method of manufacturing a core member for a vacuum insulation material, which includes the steps of: arranging a glass fiber board including glass fibers having an average diameter of 6 ㎛ to 10㎛; removing a binder by heat-processing the glass fiber board; and forming a core member for a vacuum insulation material including 99 wt% to 100 wt% of glass fibers and 0 wt% to 1 wt% of a carbonized binder by removing the binder.
