Abstract:
[Solution] The core wire separating device 10 according to the present invention comprises a holding device 20 that holds a multi-core cable 1 including a drain wire 2 exposed from a coating 5 and a plurality of core wires 3, a separation member 30 that separates the drain wire 2 and the plurality of core wires 3, and a mobile device 40 that moves the separation member 30 in a movement direction B1 that intersects an axial direction X of the multi-core cable 1 held by the holding device 20. The separation member 30 has hook parts 31b, 32b that are not hooked on the drain wire 2 and are hooked on the plurality of core wires 3 when the separation member 30 moves in the movement direction B1.
