Abstract:
Provided is a coreless rolled paper manufacturing method that allows paper that has been wound into a roll shape to be used all the way until the final end thereof. This manufacturing method is characterized by comprising: a first step in which a paper 2 is wound into a roll shape to form a roll-shaped rolled paper 1; a second step in which an insertion unit that discharges an adhesive is inserted into a center hole 3 of the rolled paper 1; a third step in which the adhesive is applied to a prescribed location in the center hole 3; and a fourth step in which the place where the adhesive was applied is subjected to heated drying, and both ends 3a, 3b of the center hole 3 are stiffened, wherein in the third step, the adhesive is applied in the vicinity of both lengthwise ends of the center hole 3, said adhesive having an adhesiveness of such a degree that the paper 2 that was wound into the roll shape can be peeled away when the rolled paper 1 is used, and in the fourth step, the adhesive that was applied in the center hole 3 is dried before the adhesive spreads from the prescribed location in the center hole 3.
