Abstract:
Provided is a Coriolis mass flowmeter that includes a corrosive fluid as a measurement target, and with which there is no risk of metal ion elution. The Coriolis mass flowmeter comprises a straight pipe (1) through which a fluid being measured flows, an exciter (2) for exciting the pipe (1), a first vibration detector (3) and a second vibration detector (4) for detecting a vibrational state of the pipe (1), and supporting bodies (8a) and (8b) for supporting both end portions of the pipe (1) to be fixed ends with respect to vibrations, wherein: the exciter (2), the first vibration detector (3) and the second vibration detector (4) are supported by frames (9a) and (9b) that are linked to the supporting bodies (8a) and (8b); and a mass flow rate of the fluid flowing through the pipe is obtained on the basis of a deviation between the phases of vibration waveforms detected by the first vibration detector (3) and the second vibration detector (4). The pipe (1), the supporting bodies (8a) and (8b), and the frames (9a) and (9b) are formed from a highly elastic plastic material.
