Abstract:
Provided is a corner module for a power transmission device. The power transmission device comprises: a power source which generates power for driving a vehicle, outputs the power via an output shaft on which a driving gear is installed, and comprises a fixing portion extending to one side in the axial direction; a drum which is formed in a cylindrical shape surrounding the power source, has one open surface in the axial direction, and has a driven gear engaged with the driving gear and formed on the outer diameter portion thereof; a drum cover coupled to one surface of the drum in the axial direction; and a wheel hub in which a tire is attached and which is coupled to the drum to be rotated along with the drum. The corner module comprises: a suspension which connects the power transmission device to a vehicle body, and comprises a knuckle coupled to the fixing portion and a frame connected to the knuckle to be moved relative to the knuckle; and a steering actuator which generates a steering force and transfers the steering force to at least one of the knuckle and the frame so as to implement steering.
