Summary of Invention

The Coronavirus Epidemic Prevention Package

The invention is based on sticky multilayered pads. The fabrication procedure of a pad layer includes the following steps:

1) Designing a suitable model to cover organs,

2) Cutting the layer according to the pattern,

3) Sticking the pieces with the required filter layers,

4) Creating a complete sticky pad layer composed of stuck layers and filter layers based on the pattern, and

5) Putting together the layers in predefined numbers, composing multilayered sticky pads.

Protective pads are designed for six organs in the proposed package, including respirator pads for the nose, mouth, eyes, ears, hands, and feet. The function of the pads

The thin sticky layer is laminated on the organ and protects it by perfectly sealing the penetration path of pathogens. The only open path is through the filter. This offers advantages, including affordability, easy and fast production in the required numbers, ease of use, leakage reliability, low size and weight, and a layered system for easy movement.

Technical Problem

[5] The technical problem is generally the expensiveness and improper performance of equipment and the impassivity of achieving suitable numbers of epidemic protection equipment in a short time. The technical problems include the followings:

1) The penetration of pathogens through the edges of protective masks, and

2) Latex gloves are relatively expensive and difficult to use (in epidemic conditions).

The objective is to protect vulnerable organs from pathogens in a relatively stable and reliable manner at a low cost.

Solution to Problem

[6] The Coronavirus Epidemic Prevention Package

The invention is based on sticky multilayered pads. The fabrication procedure of a pad layer includes the following steps:

1) Designing a suitable model to cover organs,

2) Cutting the layer according to the pattern,

3) Sticking the pieces with the required filter layers,

4) Creating a complete sticky pad layer composed of stuck layers and filter layers based on the pattern, and

5) Putting together the layers in predefined numbers, composing multilayered sticky pads.

Protective pads are designed for six organs in the proposed package, including respirator pads for the nose, mouth, eyes, ears, hands, and feet, as shown in Figure 1.

[7] The description of the protective nose respirator pads with multiple filters:

1) Sticky holed punched layers with an ergonomic design are produced according to the pattern (Figure Al). Then, the main filter layer is placed on the holes, creating an integrated surface with a dual texture. According to the pattern (Figure A2), the anti epidemic nose pad is an independent filter.

2) The surface filter layer is cut in a size larger than the holes, applying the adhesive around it according to the pattern. They are attached onto the main and sized filter in the form of labels in specified numbers. According to the pattern (Figure A3), a thin edge with no adhesives is created to separate the layers with fingertips. The layers are laid in opposite directions from the left and right sides, respectively, to enable an easy separation, as shown in Figure A4. In should be noted that the surface label filters can be added at any time, regardless of the method.

[8] Advantages include 1) improved lifetime and reduced cost of pads, 2) local replacement of surface filters without removing the pad from the face, 2) enhanced coefficient of safety, 4) ease of use, and 5) the possibility of using weaker and more affordable pads as the surface filter.

[9] The protective respirator mouth pad with Origami filters.

Description:

Sticky layers are cut in the form of rectangles, as shown in Figure Bl. Then, the filter layer with folding lines is created according to the pattern (Figure B2). The sticky later is placed around the filter layer, creating an integrated surface with a dual texture, as shown in Figure B3. The anti-epidemic mouth pad is an independent filter and can be easily shaped during usage. It is particularly similar to Origami objects (Figure B4). It perfectly fits the size and motion of the mouth - that is, opening, closing, and smiling.

Usage Procedure

It is applied to the exterior of the month, around the lips, hanging from the ears with tensile straps. Due to the delta state in the middle of the pad filter, it prevents the filter layer from entering the mouth while opening and closing. It should be noted that the mouth pad can be manufactured in an integrated form with the nose pad by the integrated cutting of the sticky layer.

[10] Protective eye pad

Description: The sticky layer is connected onto an accordion layer with the same shape in the form of a band around the transparent, thin, and lightweight optical filter, as shown in Figure Cl. Two anti-epidemic eye-protectors are held by thin tensile straps, as shown in Figure C2.

[11] Protective ear pad

Description: The protective earpad is a sticky layer cut into an approximately elliptical shape, as shown in Figure D.

[12] Protective hand pad

The protective hand pad is designed in three models.

Description of Model 1:

A multilayered sticky pad is cut in the hand pattern. It has non-sticky (folded) edges punched from the wrist, laminated in certain numbers on the interior surface of two cardboard or plastic covers resembling a book-like box, as shown in Figure El. The surfaces of both covers have fixtures that can be connected to the waist. When closed, the cover-containing box rests on one side of the stomach. The two cover sides can be placed by the fixture, as shown in Figure E2. The book-like box should be opened during usage. Both fixtures on the covers are hanged from the belt. The hands are placed on the pattern, drawing the layer. For easy functioning, flexible lightweight wristbands equipped with layer clasps are embedded (Figure E3). The clasps take the punched place without a layered adhesive, whose edge is embossed due to folding lines, and helps remove it simultaneously and independently by the hand that is covered, as shown in Figure E4.

[13] Continuing covering the previous cover to create multiple layers is possible and does not impose any problem du since the layers are flexible.

Description of Model 2

A multilayered sticky pad is cut in hand shape and certain numbers for proper functioning on the inner surface of latex or any other laminated gloves. The edge of each layer of the wrist has a marine without adhesives to serve as an edge for separation.

Description of Model 3

The pocket pad is cut in a hand pattern. It is laminated around a plate or a pulley, being used along with fixture-equipped wristbands. It is an affordable alternative to typical latex gloves.

[14] Protective foot pad Description

A multilayered sticky pad is cut in a foot pattern, being laminated in a specified number on a flat surface. Each layer sticks to the next layer due to the smooth surface and nono coverage of the layers. The protective footpad comes in three models, 1) pocket pads to be available everywhere, 2) doormat pads for walking into the house, and 3) ground boxes for public places.

Advantageous Effects of Invention

[15] 1) improved safety of users against unwanted pathogens, 2) easy, affordable, and optimized production and usage along with relatively reliable performance, 3) rapid customization for variable conditions only by changing the cutting pattern, 4) production in high numbers and a short time in critical conditions in light of simple materials and procedure (it can be produced even at homes), 5) a wide range of uses in light of designing and changing elements for military, air pollution, dust, and epidemic applications, 3) and a small size, a light weight, and a planar form suitable for deploying in remote places when needed.
