Abstract:
Provided is a cosmetic applicator for mascara and eyebrows whereby it is possible to apply the appropriate amount of a liquid cosmetic material to the eyelashes or the eyebrows. An applicator (1) in which a plurality of bristles (30) is secured by being folded in two and by means of clip (20) within an elongated groove (12) formed on a portion of the side surface of a brush part (10) formed on the tip of a brush shaft (6), wherein comb blades (26) are integrally formed on the exposed surface (21) of the clip (20) in the brush axis direction at a predetermined pitch. A liquid accumulation space is narrowed by forming comb blades (26) on a space which was widely open between groups of bristles (30a, 30b) arranged in two rows. Thus, it is possible to prevent an excessive amount of the liquid cosmetic material from accumulating in the brush part (10).
