Abstract:
The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition comprising as an effective ingredient a low molecular weight neutral oligosaccharides derived from green tea for promoting skin moisturization and skin regeneration and a method for producing the same, wherein a fraction of oligosaccharides derived from green tea promotes skin moisturization and proliferation and the differentiation of human keratinocyte. It is confirmed that the fraction has an effect of rapidly recovering an epidermis layer damaged by external stimuli, and therefore, the present invention has an excellent effect of providing a functional cosmetic composition containing the fraction as an effective ingredient.
