Provided is a cosmetic composition that has high water resistance even when silicone oil is not used or when the amount of silicone oil used is small. A cosmetic composition that contains the following components: UV scattering agent particles, bis-diglyceryl polyacyladipate-2, and a liquid oil, and in which the silicone oil in the liquid oil is 10 mass% or less.
