Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a counterweight device and a counterweight loading method that enable easy loading of a counterweight. This counterweight device (1) is provided with a counterweight (3) and a framework (4). The framework (4) has a rectangular shape when viewed from the front. The framework (4) supports the counterweight (3) from underneath. In a state in which an upper end portion of the framework (4) is tilted forward, the counterweight (3) is loaded from a space forward of the upper end portion. The counterweight (3) gets housed in the framework (3) as the upper end portion rotates backward.
