The invention is a terminal block having at least one housing for interconnecting at least one conductor cable for the transmission of electricity, at least one first conductor inlet opening for placing one of the conductor cables on the said housing, at least one secondary conductor inlet opening for placing the other conductor cables, at least one current bar with conductive feature extending between the said first conductor inlet opening and the said secondary conductor inlet opening, at least one first connection chamber provided between the said current bar and the first conductor inlet opening, at least one second connection chamber provided between the current bar and the secondary conductor inlet opening, at least one spring in the first connection chamber and the second connection chamber that allows the contact of the conductor cables with the current bar, at least one cover connected to at least one of said first connection chamber and said second connection chamber so as to act as a cover over at least for one of them.

BACKGROUND

When it comes to electricity, the equipment that connects two different cables is called a terminal block. The use of this product is also mandatory to ensure safety, especially in electrical circuits. There are quite a few types of terminal blocks. According to their structure; there are feed-through terminal blocks, neutral terminal blocks, ground terminal blocks, fuse terminal blocks, cutting and disconnect terminal blocks, sensor, and actuator terminal blocks, and special-type terminal blocks. At the same time, the terminal blocks are diversified according to the connection types.

For the safety of the connection, the volume in the connection slot must be limited and the entire cable or part of the conductor wires must not protrude from the terminal block. In the terminal blocks in the state of the art, this function is provided by bending the extensions coming out of the current bar or by extending the housing towards the part that needs restriction. This limiting factor ensures that conductor wires carrying current do not cause danger by staying in a closed part. Thanks to the cover, especially the stranded conductor cables and springs are prevented from coming out of the terminal block. Structures that provide this limiting effect in the state of the art have some disadvantages. In the solutions where the current bar is bent, there is a high waste rate and relatively large molds are needed; In the solutions where the housing is extended, precision machined complex injection housing molds are needed. Providing the limiting factor with the cover also causes some negativities. Since the terminal blocks are not completely symmetrical, there is a need for separate cover designs covering each connection slot. The fact that there are many different types of covers on this single terminal block causes problems and confusion in the manufacturing and logistics of the cover.

As a result, all the above-mentioned disadvantages have made it possible to implement a new embodiment in the relevant technical field.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a terminal block for eliminating the above-mentioned disadvantages and bringing new advantages to the relevant technical field.

An object of the invention is to provide a cover that is facilitated to be mounted on the terminal block and subsequently used.

Another object of the invention is to provide a cover on the terminal block to cover both the spring and the cable.

Another object of the invention is to provide a terminal block with a uniform cover.

In order to achieve all the objects that will arise from the above-mentioned and the following detailed description, the present invention is a terminal block having at least one housing for interconnecting at least one conductor cable for the transmission of electricity, at least one first conductor inlet opening for placing one of the conductor cables on the said housing, at least one secondary conductor inlet opening for placing the other of the conductor cables, at least one current bar with conductive feature extending between the said first conductor inlet opening and the said secondary conductor inlet opening, at least one first connection chamber provided between the said current bar and the first conductor inlet opening, at least one second connection chamber provided between the current bar and the secondary conductor inlet opening, at least one spring in the first connection chamber and the second connection chamber that allows the contact of the conductor cables with the current bar, at least one cover connected to at least one of said first connection chamber and said second connection chamber so as to act as a cover over at least one of them. Accordingly, its novelty is that the said cover, which covers the first connection chamber and the second connection chamber, is provided in the form of at least one first cover and at least one second cover, formed identically to each other. Thus, the cover structures on the terminal block are made uniform.

A possible embodiment of the invention is characterized in that it comprises at least one connection hole on the outer sides of the first connection chamber and the second connection chamber for connecting the housing with the cover. Thus, while the cover is connected to the housing, the volumetric narrowing of the slots is prevented at the same time.

Another possible embodiment of the invention is characterized in that it comprises at least one assembly connection extension for associating it with the said connection hole on the cover. Thus, it is ensured that the cover can be fixed on the housing.

Another possible embodiment of the invention is characterized in that it comprises at least one foot protrusion and at least one flap protrusion on the cover. Thus, the cover can be assembled into the housing from multiple parts.

Another possible embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the said flap protrusion is provided on the cover two mutually. Thus, the cover can be assembled into the housing from multiple parts.

Another possible embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the said assembly connection extension is positioned on each foot protrusion and flap protrusion. Thus, the cover can be assembled into the housing from multiple parts.

Another possible embodiment of the invention is characterized in that it comprises at least one injection protrusion on the cover. Thus, the manufacturing properties of the cover are improved.

Another possible embodiment of the invention is characterized in that it comprises at least one chamfered part on the cover. Thus, the cover is ensured to have an aesthetic posture. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURE

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

In this detailed description, the subject matter of the invention is explained only by means of examples that will not have any limiting effect for a better understanding of the subject matter.

Figures 1 and 2 show a representative view of the terminal block (1 ) of the invention. Accordingly, the terminal block (1) is the equipment for providing the connection between two different conductor cables (30). The terminal block allows the conductor cables (30) to be safely connected to each other in electrical transmission. The terminal block (1 ) has at least one housing (10) in order to do this. The housing (10) is made of insulating material. In this way, unwanted electrical leakage from terminal block (1) to the outside is prevented. There is at least one first conductor inlet opening (11) and at least one secondary conductor inlet opening (12) on the terminal block (1). There is at least one current bar (15) extending between the first conductor inlet opening (11 ) and the secondary conductor inlet opening (12) on the terminal block (1 ). The current bar (15) is made of conductive material. In this way, electricity transmission is enabled between the first conductor inlet opening (11) and the cables placed in the secondary conductor inlet opening (12). There is at least one first connection chamber (13) between the first conductor inlet opening (11 ) and the current bar (15) and at least one second connection chamber (14) between the secondary conductor inlet opening (12) and the current bar (15) on the housing (10). The said first connection chamber (13) and the second connection chamber (14) comprise at least one spring (16) for contacting the conductor cables (30) with the current bar (15). The spring (16) provides the required clamping force to safely transmit the electric current. The first connection chamber (13) and the second connection chamber (14) are essentially a section in which the conductor cables (30) come into contact with the current bar (15).

Figure 3 shows a representative cable-mounted perspective view of the terminal block (1) of the invention. Accordingly, there is at least one cover (20) on the terminal block (1). The cover (20) prevents the especially cored conductor cable (30), which is connected to the terminal block (1), from opening to the external environment. In order to be able to do this, the cover (20) is associated with at least one connection hole (17) on the housing (10). The said connection hole (17) allows the assembly of the cover (20) on the terminal block (1). The connection hole (17) is preferably provided in a plurality on the housing (10). In this way, it is ensured that the cover (20) is assembled on the housing (10) from many places. The connection hole (17) is positioned at the outer part of the first connection chamber (13) and the second connection chamber (14). In this way, it is prevented from preventing the installation of the conductor cables (30) by preventing the narrowing of the first connection chamber (13) and the second connection chamber (14) during the installation of the conductor cable (30). In addition, an insulating material is preferred as the cover (20) material. The cover (20) is preferably made of engineering plastic and in particular polyamide material in a possible embodiment of the invention. Thus, the manufacturing of the cover (20) is facilitated.

Figures 4 and 5 show a representative perspective view of the cover (20) connected to the terminal block (1 ) of the invention. Accordingly, the cover (20) is provided in the form of at least one first cover (20a) and at least one second cover (20b) in order to cover the first connection chamber (13) and the second connection chamber (14) of the terminal block (1). The first cover (20a) and the second cover (20b) are formed in identical ways. In this way, the assembly of the terminal block (1 ) is possible with a single type of cover (20), and it offers advantages in terms of production and logistics with the fact that fewer parts are included in the product. For this, there is at least one foot protrusion (21) and at least one flap protrusion (22) on the cover (20). In the preferred embodiment of the invention, two units are provided mutually on the cover (20) of the flap protrusion (22). There is a foot protrusion (21 ) on the cover (20) and at least one assembly connection extension (23) on the flap protrusions (22). The assembly connection extension (23) allows the cover (20) to be fixed on the housing (10) by passing it into the connection hole (17). For this, a curved form can be found on the assembly connection extension (23). There may also be at least one injection protrusion (24) on the cover (20). The injection protrusion (24) allows the cover (20) to be formed by plastic injection while manufacturing errors are collected on the injection protrusion (24). In addition, the chamfered part (25) can be found on the cover. The chamfered parts (25) can be positioned in predetermined regions of the cover (20), which helps to facilitate manufacturing and use.

While there is two cover (20) structures on the terminal block (1 ) in the preferred embodiment of the invention in the form of a first cover (20a) and a second cover (20b), a larger number of the cover (20) structures can be used in other possible embodiments of the invention. A distinctive feature of the invention is that the structure of this cover (20) is manufactured uniformly, even if there is a plurality of them. It is ensured that the cover (20) structures on the terminal blocks (1 ) are uniformed, and the ease of assembly, supply, and use is achieved with this whole embodiment. In addition, it is ensured that the connection slots are limited with an external cover (20) on the terminal block (1). It allows the design of the current bar (15), whose superiority is less wasted than the method in which the same function is provided by the curving of the current bar (15).

The protection scope of the invention is specified in the appended claims and cannot be strictly limited to those explained in this detailed description for illustrative purposes. It is evident that a person skilled in the art may exhibit similar embodiments in light of the foregoing without departing from the main theme of the invention.
