Abstract:
The present invention provides a covering material for animals which can easily moisturize sole of an animal while protecting the sole. This covering material (shoes 1) for animals, which covers a sole (Fa) of an animal (D), has: a sole part (2) that supports a foot (F) of the animal (D); and an upper part (3) attached to a peripheral edge section of the sole part (2) so as to enclose the foot (F), wherein a sole contact surface (5) of the sole part (2) has rubber elasticity and is formed of an elastomer containing a hydrocarbon oil (7) which has a liquid state at room temperature, the sole contact surface (5) being in contact with at least the sole (Fa) of the animal (D).
