A cross-border payment method, comprising: receiving a payment operation request, the payment operation request being used for requesting to pay for a domestic transaction order by using a digital wallet created on a client; in response to an instruction operation of a user being detected, obtaining card information of a target foreign bank card that is to recharge the digital wallet; sending a payment request to a first bank server of a target operating agency of the digital wallet, so as to request to exchange currency in the target foreign bank card into digital currency to recharge the digital wallet, and using the balance in the digital wallet to pay for the transaction order; and receiving payment result information sent by the first bank server, the payment result information being used for indicating that the target foreign bank card has been used to recharge the digital wallet and that the digital wallet has been used to pay for the transaction order. The method can improve the efficiency of recharging a digital wallet by using a foreign bank card in China, and the efficiency of paying for a transaction order.
