Abstract:
The present invention relates to a protein, wherein the hydroxylation and oxidation of a tyrosine moiety of a protein is catalyzed with high efficiency by using actinomycete-derived tyrosinase, and remarkable adhesion, high thermal stability and mechanical stability are provided through the cross-linking of a catechol- or quinone-structured material generated thereby. In addition, it is possible to immobilize an enzyme and prepare a biocompatible material by applying the protein.
