Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention, relating to a crown removal device, is to provide a crown removal device which enables an operator to remove only a crown without damaging teeth by: putting each arm of forceps evenly on the occlusal surface of the buccolingual side of the crown; and then situating, on the occlusal surface of neighboring teeth, support rods equipped at the lower ends of the forceps and applying force in a lever manner. When the present invention is applied, force is evenly applied to the buccolingual side of the crown, and thus, damage to teeth can be prevented. In particular, the present invention has an advantage that since the crown is removed using a lever action, the operator may apply a relatively small force to remove the crown, thereby being able to delicately remove the crown from a tooth.
