Abstract:
A crutch according to the present invention comprises: a body (1); an extendible/contractible pipe support (2) coupled to the lower portion of the body; an air cylinder (25) mounted inside the extendible/contractible pipe support; a piston (27) and a piston rod (28) that are provided inside the air cylinder; a forearm support (6) provided on the upper portion of the body; a handle support (7) provided on the upper portion of the extendible/contractible pipe support; an aggregate pump portion (14) and a control device (8) that endow the extendible/contractible pipe support with extending and contracting motions; a manual driver installed on the handle support so as to provide the aggregate pump portion with driving force; and an energy source (31) for supplying the aggregate pump portion (14) with driving energy. The control device (8) is installed on the handle support (7), and the aggregate pump portion (14) is installed on the body (1).
