Abstract:

In the suction element of a cryogenic adsorption pump the adsorbent is located in the annular chambers (10) between heat conducting envelopes (6, 7, 8) and porous-screen envelopes (9), whereas the envelopes (6, 7, 8, 9) are fixed so as to ensure thermal contact with the cap (5) of the reservoir (4) for the cryoagent.
