Abstract:
This cryopreservation container 100 is provided with: a cap part 3 having a first engaging part 10; and a main body 2 having a second engaging part 20 in an insertion part 5. At the tip of the insertion part 5, a biological substance mounting part 6 on which a biological substance is mounted is provided. By inserting the insertion part 5 through an opening 3b of the cap part 3, the biological substance mounting part 6 is housed in a storage part 7 formed between the cap part 3 and the insertion part 5. Due to a force generated upon the engaging between the first engaging part 10 and the second engaging part 20, the sure fitting of the cap part 3 to the main body 2 can be recognized easily.
