Abstract:
The present invention relates to crystalline levopraziquantel, and preparation method and application thereof. The X-ray diffraction pattern (CuKα radiation) of crystalline levopraziquantel at 25oC shows the following diffraction peaks: 2-Theta=6.9±0.2°, 8.3±0.2°, 15.1±0.2°, 17.4±0.2°, 19.8±0.2°, 21.9±0.2°, 24.3±0.2°, or d=12.74±0.20Å, 10.61±0.20Å, 5.87±0.20Å, 5.09±0.20Å, 4.48±0.20Å, 4.06±0.20Å, and 3.66±0.20Å. Compared with an existing crystalline praziquantel, the crystal form of the present invention has features of better solubility, drug effect, and pharmacokinetics. The preparation method of the present invention has good repeatability, and is environmentally friendly and of low cost, and is able to operate at a normal pressure and temperature, thus being suitable for large-scale production.
