Title:
CU-AG ALLOY WIRE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/085305
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention provides a Cu-Ag alloy wire which achieves excellent flex fatigue resistance characteristics, while having high tensile strength and high electrical conductivity. The present invention provides a Cu-Ag alloy wire which has a chemical composition that contains 1.0 to 6.0% by mass of Ag, with the balance being made up of Cu and unavoidable impurities; this Cu-Ag alloy wire has a plurality of Ag phases that are linked in the generally longitudinal direction of the Cu-Ag alloy wire, thereby being linearly distributed in the matrix; and the average crystal grain size of the matrix is within the range of 10 to 60 nm as determined in a cross-section that is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the Cu-Ag alloy wire.
