Abstract:
This cuff pressure control device is provided with a pump, internal piping coupled to the pump, a pressure sensor for measuring the internal pressure in the internal piping, and a control unit for controlling cuff pressure. A cuff is capable of being separated from the cuff pressure control device, and when separated, a first space communicating with the cuff is maintained in a hermetic state, thereby maintaining the cuff pressure. Additionally, when a cuff that has been separated is coupled to the cuff pressure control device, and the cuff and the internal piping are coupled in such a way as to communicate with one another, the control unit adjusts the pressure in the cuff pressure control device to the pressure in the first space prior to the cuff being coupled to the cuff pressure control device.
