Abstract:
A culinary mapping tool for detecting a cooking status in a pot. The tool comprises: a sound sensor (21) capable of directly or indirectly collecting an audio frequency within a cooking pot (11), and a frequency spectrum analysis terminal for receiving a feedback signal from the sound sensor (21). The frequency spectrum analysis terminal comprises an audio receiver (22), a filter (23), an audio recognition converter (26), and an audio frequency spectrum output device forming data connections to each other in that order. Owing to the sound sensor (21) configured to collect an audio frequency from the pot (11) of the cooking pot, a user can hear a degree of doneness of food and gain knowledge of a cooking status of the food in the pot without opening the pot. The sound sensor (21) provides an audio frequency signal feedback. The feedback is received by the frequency spectrum analysis terminal, and is then subject to noise filtering performed by the filter (23) and recognition and conversion to form an audio spectrum segment. The audio spectrum segment can be displayed in various audible or visible formats so as to provide a more intuitive sound or view for understanding the cooking status within the pot, thereby offering an ergonomic means of assessing and determining a degree of doneness of food.
