Abstract:
The present application may provide a curable composition and a use thereof. The present application may provide a curable composition to be applied to products or elements that, during operation, storage, and/or maintenance thereof, generate heat or could ignite or explode, so as to counteract such heat, ignition, and explosion effectively. For example, the composition of the present application may be applied to an article comprising a plurality of such products or elements so as to counteract abnormal heat generation, explosion, and ignition from any one element or product and prevent or minimize the propagation of such heat, explosion, and ignition to other adjacent elements or products. The present application may also provide the curable composition in such a way that ensures ease of handling, storage stability, and flame retardancy. The curable composition or cured product of the present application, while achieving the above properties by using an unencapsulated phase change material, can also maintain the above properties stably over a long period of time.
