Abstract:
The present invention provides a curable resin composition which contains (A) a multifunctional thiol compound having 2 to 6 thiol groups, (B) a multifunctional urethane (meth)acrylate compound having 2 to 3 (meth)acrylic groups, (C) a multifunctional allyl compound having 2 to 4 (meth)allyl groups, (D) a spherical filler that has an average particle diameter of 15 µm or less and (E) a photopolymerization initiator, wherein: the blending mass ratio (B)/(C) is 0.1 to 1.0; the ratio of the thiol groups in the component (A) to the polymerizable unsaturated bonds in the components (B) and (C) is 0.5 to 3.0; and the amount of the component (D) is 1 to 50 parts by mass relative to a total of 100 parts by mass of the components (A) to (C). This curable resin composition does not contaminate liquid crystals even in cases where the curable resin composition in an uncured state comes into contact with the liquid crystals, while being capable of maintaining the shape on a base material for a long period of time; and in addition, alignment disturbance of liquid crystals is not caused even in cases where a cured product of this curable resin composition is in contact with the liquid crystals under harsh wet heat conditions. Consequently, this curable resin composition is used in a sealing material for film liquid crystal panels, the sealing material exhibiting excellent followability to a base material regardless of changes in the temperature environment.
