Abstract:

This currency processing device is provided with: a conveyance unit for conveying currency; an identification unit for identifying the version of the currency conveyed by the conveyance unit; and a control unit for controlling the conveyance unit to convey the currency to a conveyance destination set for each version, on the basis of the version identified by the identification unit. The control unit is configured to automatically set setting information on the conveyance destination of the currency for each version in conjunction with preparation for identification of currency of the latest version by the identification unit.
