Abstract:
The present invention provides a currency processing device comprising: an operating unit 113 that accepts operations performed by a user; an operation mode switching unit 127 that switches between a manned mode in which a store clerk is allowed to perform payment processing, and a self-mode in which a customer is allowed to perform payment processing; and an operation control unit 124 that performs control so that operations are accepted in the operating unit 113 in the manned mode, and operations are not accepted in the operating unit 113 in the self-mode.
