Abstract:
A current detection device (150, 250, 350, 450, 550) is applied to a control device for a polyphase AC rotary electric machine and detects a phase current flowing in a power line for supplying power to the rotary electric machine. The current detection device (150, 250, 350, 450, 550) is provided with: a detected current acquisition unit (111, 211, 311, 411, 511) that acquires a detected current value from a current sensor that detects the phase current, the detected current value being a detected value for the phase current in the power line that is a detection target; and a correction unit (114, 214, 314, 414, 514) that calculates an error of the detected current value due to a magnetic flux of the power line, on the basis of an error number, which is a prescribed constant or variable determined by a shield between the current sensor and the power line and the distance between the current sensor and the power line, and that corrects the detected current value.
