Abstract:
Provided is a lead-free current fuse such that connectivity to terminal portions are improved, an increase in current rating can be handled without leading to an increase in resistance value, and an abnormal overheating of the terminal portions can be suppressed during fusing time.
The current fuse has two engaging terminal portions 2, 2, and a fusing portion 3 provided between the engaging terminal portions 2, 2. The fusing portion 3 is formed from a fusible conductor 6 having a lead-free, low-melting-point metal 4, and a lead-free, first high-melting-point metal 5 being layered therein, the first high-melting-point metal 5 having a higher melting point than the low-melting-point metal 4.
