Description:

CUSTOMIZED BOX PROFILE

Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a box profile which enables the panels used in wall formwork systems to be connected to each other more easily.

Background of the Invention

Currently, there are many steel profile types used in wall formwork systems. While some of these are hot drawn ready-made profiles, some others are customized cold drawn profiles. No matter what type the wall formwork profile is, studs, which enable resistance against pressure of concrete and reciprocal connection of the formworks, and props are used in each wall formwork in order to control erectness of the walking platform formwork that carries the workers during pouring of the concrete.

In all of the prior art techniques, the working platform and prop connections are fixed on predetermined places on the formwork via special materials (connection members such as bolt, nut, etc.). Users do not have the opportunity of changing the places of these connections according to the conditions.

The places of the stud holes on the formwork and the working platforms could overlap, thus an additional planning was required to find a solution.

Furthermore, depending on the area that the formwork is used in the building site, legs of the props can, from time to time, run into places like the flooring spaces and thus the place of the prop should be changed.

Certain centering apparatuses and materials like bolts, nuts, etc. which can easily be lost in the building site, were required for the panels which need to be attached

side by side or one on top of the other. In cases where stud intervals are greater than it is necessary, when horizontal, vertical or transverse support profiles should be connected side by side to a plurality of formworks, the connection points provided on the formwork were used. In some cases, these connection points were not sufficient or did not solve the problem.

The Japanese patent document No. JP 2001152607, an application within the state of the art, discloses use of specially formed metal profile in assembling of house frames. In the said application, a profile and a connection member are disclosed which cause many of the above listed problems.

Summary of the Invention

The objective of the present invention is to realize a box profile which facilitates horizontal and vertical connection of the panels in the wall formwork systems.

Another objective of this invention is to realize a box profile which enables connection of the auxiliary units that are required to be connected onto the panel, on any point on the panel.

Detailed Description of the Invention

The box profile realized to fulfill the objectives of the present invention is illustrated in the accompanying figures, in which;

Figure 1 is the perspective view of a wall formwork system onto which a working platform is connected.

Figure 2 is the top view of the customized (specially formed) box profile.

Figure 3 is perspective view of the customized box profile.

The parts shown in the figures are each given reference numerals as follows:

1. Wall formwork system

2. Panel

3. Vertical profile 4. Horizontal profile

5. Clamp

6. Working platform

7. Prop

8. Support profile 9. Recess

The inventive wall formwork system (1) essentially comprises a panel (2) which has recesses (9) that enable panel (2) members like working platform (6) and props (7) to be connected onto the panel (2) via clamps (5) at any height by means of the vertical profile (3) and at any horizontal position by means of the horizontal profile (4).

The panel (2) serves as a formwork for the concrete being poured. Horizontal fixing of the panel (2) is performed by props (6) and clamps (5). A working platform (6) is used during operations performed on the formwork. The working platform (6) is connected to the panel by means of a clamp (5). As it is mentioned above, connection of the working platform (6) or the prop (7) onto the panel from any point is enabled by vertical and horizontal profiles.

The inventive wall formwork system (1) comprises at least one clamp (5) which enables connection of operational members, which are to be connected onto the panel (2), like the working platform (6), the prop (7) and the support profiles (8), to the horizontal profiles (4) and vertical profiles (3) from any point desired, and recesses (9) which are located at the lateral surfaces of the customized box profiles and into which the ends of the clamp (5) are fitted.

The customized box profile consists of horizontal and vertical profiles on which there are opposing recesses (9). The opposing recesses (9) enable two adjoining customized box profiles to be easily connected to each other via a clamp (5). This practical connection form can be used the same way both for the horizontal and vertical connections in panels, by means of the customized box profile which is used in wall form work systems (1) and which is to be used in place of the vertical profile (3) and the horizontal profile (4).

The fact that the recesses (9) are positioned so as to oppose each other provides ease of use in wall form work systems (1) with a single type of profile. It facilitates connection of the prop (7), support profiles (8) and working platforms (6) used in wall form work systems (1) onto any point on the panel (2) via a clamp (5). With the help of the present invention, props (7) and working platforms (6) can be slid to right and left during application as desired.

Another characteristic of the present invention is that there is no need for materials like bolts, nuts, pins, etc. which may easily be lost in a building site, to be used in connection details of support props (7), support profiles (8) or working platforms (6) that are connected to the profiles. This brings in both time and economy to the user. As it can be connected onto any point desired, it facilitates application in the building site. Since these connections are made to the customized box profile from outside via a clamp (5), and they do not require any additional connection means such as boring a hole or welding a nut on the profile, they decrease the production costs of the panels that they are used in.

The examples provided above during description of the invention cannot limit the invention. The inventive wall form work system (1) is essentially according to the claims.
