Abstract:
Provided are a cutter unit for tip dressing that is capable of extending the useful life of a cutter, can smoothly discharge chips produced during cutting, and is comfortable to use, and a manual tip dresser on which the cutter unit is mounted. A cutter unit (3) attached to a manual tip dresser (1) is provided with a rotating holder (6) and a cutter (7) that can be attached to and removed from the rotating holder (6). The rotating holder (6) comprises a tip receiving section (6c) that receives a tip end section (11a) of an electrode tip (11) during cutting, and a pass-through section (8) that passes through in the rotation axis (C1) direction. The cutter (7) is attached to an inner side surface of the pass-through section (8) in an attitude extending in the radial direction of the rotating holder (6) and in the rotation axis (C1) direction. A widened section (8a), which is set to a size that is wider in the radial direction of the rotating holder (6) than one side thereof in the rotation axis (C1) direction, is provided to the other side of the through section (8) in the rotation axis (C1) direction.
