Abstract:
A cutting blade (10) comprises a base material (20), and a coating (30). The base material (20) has a blade-side portion (22). The blade-side portion (22) is in the form of a plate in which at least part of an outer edge makes a blade tip (23). The thickness of the blade-side portion (22) decreases towards the blade tip (23). The coating (30) covers at least a surface of the blade-side portion (22) of the surfaces of the base material 20. The material of the coating (30) includes diamond. The coating (30) has a coating body (31) and a protrusion (32). The coating body (31) is along the surface of the blade-side portion (22). The protrusion (32) protrudes from an outside surface of the coating body (31).
