Abstract:
A cutting device according to the present invention comprises: a plasma torch including an electrode and ejecting a plasma arc to cut a material to be cut; a power supply unit supplying power supplied from outside to the plasma torch; a voltage detection unit measuring a voltage of the plasma arc and outputting a measured value; and a control unit continuously monitoring the measured value, and, when the measured value exceeds a drop determination threshold, reducing the current supplied by the power supply unit to the plasma torch from a normal value to an interruption state value to cause a transition from a normal state to an interruption state, which is maintained.
