Abstract:
A cutting device (1) characterized by having a work level acquisition unit (60b) that inputs surface information for a workpiece (2) acquired by a surface information acquisition unit (50) into a trained model and acquires a work level for the workpiece (2), wherein a control unit (60a) controls the operation of a drive unit (20) to perform cutting work on the workpiece (2) on the basis of the work level acquired by the work level acquisition unit (60b). A trained model generation method characterized by having a teaching data acquisition step for acquiring teaching data including metal surface information that is associated with a work level expressing the degree of completion of the cutting work, and a trained model generation step for, via machine learning using the teaching data, generating a trained model using the metal surface information as the input and the work level as the output.
