Abstract:
This cutting device comprises: a cutting part 70 having a pair of cutting members 71, 73 that are configured to be capable of rotating, about a shared shaft 75, in each of a direction of approaching each other and a direction of moving away from each other; and a drive part (e.g., a motor 16, a battery 17, and a hydraulic pump 20) for operating the cutting part 70 so that the cutting members 71, 73 rotate about the shaft 75 in either the direction of approaching each other or the direction of moving away from each other; the cutting device being such that the cutting members 71, 73 of the cutting part 70 each have blade parts 72, 74 that face each other, at least one blade part 72, 74 from among the blade parts 72, 74 has a projecting portion 72b, 74b that protrudes toward the other of the blade parts 72, 74, and the projecting portion 72b, 74b is shaped so as to first come into contact with a round bar when the cutting members 71, 73 move about the shaft 75 in the direction of approaching each other.
