Abstract:
Provided is a cutting machine for which cutting noise and device vibration during cutting are small and which is capable of cutting without causing transverse deviation of the workpiece. The cutting machine (1), which cuts a workpiece (W) by lowering a flat blade (2), is provided with: a punching board (17) equipped with the blade (2) on the lower part and configured to be capable of moving vertically by passing both the left and right ends through guide posts (13); a first eccentric mechanism (5) that moves one end of the blade (2) in the longitudinal direction vertically; a second eccentric mechanism (6) that moves the other end of the blade (2) in the longitudinal direction vertically; and a control unit that makes it possible to execute a movement of lowering the blade (2) horizontally by activating the first and second eccentric mechanisms (6, 7) simultaneously, or a movement of lowering the blade (2) with a slant by activating the first and second eccentric mechanisms (6, 7) with time difference.
