Title:
CUTTING MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/105494
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem that, in a desktop cutting machine in which a cutting machine body provided with a saw blade is vertically swingably supported with respect to a table on which a material to be cut is placed, when a downward force is applied to attach a battery pack serving as a power supply, the cutting machine body also moves downward, resulting in impaired operability when attaching the battery. The purpose of the present invention is to increase the operability for attaching and detaching a battery. A slide direction (B) for attaching and detaching a battery (101) is set to an inclined direction at an angle with respect to a surface direction of a blade tool (51) being a vertical movement direction of a cutting machine body (50). Thus, not all of the operating force for attaching and detaching the battery (101) is applied in the vertical movement direction of the cutting machine body (50). As a result, the cutting machine body (50) is less likely to be moved vertically, and operability for attaching and detaching the battery is increased.
