Abstract:
The invention is a cutting and shaping apparatus (100) comprising a base (20) arranged on at least two legs (10), a slide (30) perpendicularly and mutually positioned on a said base (20), at least one plate (40) connected to move in the direction A (A) and the direction B (B) on the said slide (30), and a plurality of cutters (50) provided on the said plate (40), characterized in that said cutting and shaping apparatus (100) is made of bent stainless steel material, that it comprises at least one handle (60) for moving said plate (40) in the direction A (A) and in the direction B (B), and at least one support (70) for engaging said handle (60) on the cutting and shaping apparatus (100).

CLAIMS

1. The invention is a cutting and shaping apparatus (100) comprising a base (20) arranged on at least two legs (10), a slide (30) perpendicularly and mutually positioned on a said base (20), at least one plate (40) connected to move in direction A (A) and direction B (B) on the said slide (30), and a plurality of cutters (50) provided on the said plate (40), characterized in that said cutting and shaping apparatus (100) complex is made of bent stainless-steel material.

2. A cutting and shaping apparatus (100) according to Claim 1 , characterized in that it comprises at least one handle (60) used for moving said plate (40) in direction A (A) and direction B (B).

3. A cutting and shaping apparatus (100) according to Claim 2, characterized in that it comprises at least one support (70) for engaging said handle (60) on the cutting and shaping apparatus (100).

A CUTTING AND SHAPING APPARATUS FOR USE IN THE FOOD SECTOR

TECHNICAL FIELD

The invention relates to a cutting and shaping apparatus for use in restaurants, cafes, houses, hotels, and similar areas, especially in professional kitchens, and in particular for forming onions into flowers, which can be easily cleaned and allows for long-lasting use.

BACKGROUND

Currently, onion is a vegetable belonging to the Allium plant family. Onion vegetables have characteristic sharp aromas and some medicinal properties. Onions play an important role as a source of vitamin A, which supports both immunity and eye health, vitamin C, which helps protect against diseases, especially in winter, and vitamin B, which helps the nervous system to function properly. It is also very rich in sulfur, iodine, calcium, iron, phosphate, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, and antioxidants.

However, onions have great health benefits. Onions play a major role in the health of people, such as reducing the risk of various types of cancer, improving mood, and maintaining skin and hair health. Because of these benefits, there is a need for chopping and cooking methods in various ways, especially to increase onion consumption for children and other people.

In the present art, various apparatuses are used for chopping and shaping the onion to take the form of flowers in particular. Casting is preferred as an aluminum material and production method in the production of said apparatus. These apparatuses made of aluminum are incompatible with food products and affect human health negatively. In addition, these apparatuses, which provide the shape of flowers on onions, are heavy because they are produced by casting methods and accordingly, they are difficult to carry and use.

In the state of the art, various auxiliary equipment is used in onion chopping. One of these pieces of equipment is a grater. In the process made with a grater, it is ensured that the onion is only divided into small pieces, and no shaping process can be applied to the onion. In addition, since there is no protection system in grater structures in the process of grating the onion, accidents such as damage to the user's hand may occur during the use of the grater.

In another state of the art, blades of various sizes and shapes are used to break the onion into pieces. With the help of the blade, it is both difficult to slice and provide certain shapes. However, the shapes to be given to the onion with the help of a blade are limited, and the shapes vary according to both the current shape of the onion and the dexterity of the person operating. In addition, since the onion is chopped with the help of a blade or various shapes are given to the onion, it is highly likely that the user will cut their hand and get injured.

There is a patent document with application number 2007/06606 in the literature. The fruits and vegetables of the invention relate to an assembly for cutting food products, particularly such as onions, and include a cutting portion provided with a plurality of cutting blades and a counterpart pressed against the cutting portion for cutting the object to be cut. The counterpart contains a stamp, which presses the item to be cut between the cutting part or its blades. It is also characterized in that a chamber is removably located on the cutting part facing the direction of the opposite part in the area where the blades are located.

As a result, all the above-mentioned problems have made it imperative to innovate in the relevant technical field.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a cutting and shaping apparatus for eliminating the above- mentioned disadvantages and bringing new advantages to the relevant technical field.

The main object of the invention is to present a cutting and shaping apparatus with long- lasting use with the machine assembly being made of stainless material.

Another object of the invention is to provide a cutting and shaping apparatus that allows easy cleaning of all food contact parts and the entire machine.

In order to realize all the objectives mentioned above and those that will emerge from the following detailed description, the present invention is a cutting and shaping apparatus comprising a base arranged on at least two legs, a slide perpendicularly and mutually positioned on said base, at least one plate connected to move in the direction A and in the direction B on the said slide, and a plurality of cutters provided on said plate. Accordingly, its novelty is that said cutting and shaping apparatus assembly is made of twisted stainless- steel material. Thus, it is easy to clean and lightweight, and in addition to these, it is a food and user-friendly cutting and shaping apparatus that allows long-lasting use.

A possible embodiment of the invention is characterized by at least one handle used for moving said plate in direction A and in direction B. Thus, it is to ensure that the product on the cutting and shaping apparatus meets the cutting elements and that the shaping process is carried out.

Another possible embodiment of the invention is characterized in that at least one arm holder is used for connecting said handles on the cutting and shaping apparatus. Thus, it is to produce a rigid and durable cutting and shaping apparatus.

Figure 1 shows a representative general and detailed view of the cutting and shaping apparatus of the invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

In this detailed description, a cutting and shaping apparatus of the invention is described only by way of non-limiting examples for a better understanding of the subject matter.

A cutting and shaping apparatus (100) enables the onion to be shaped into a flower quite practically and quickly in restaurants, cafes, houses, hotels, and similar areas and especially in professional kitchens. The consumption of onions in the form of flowers is highly preferred in some cultures. In addition, there are hotels where onions are shaped into flowers to attract the attention of customers. In addition, flower onions are visually preferred to increase onion use in individuals. For all these reasons, it is intended to provide a cutting and shaping apparatus (100) that can be easily cleaned and allows long-lasting use.

Figure 1 shows a cutting and shaping apparatus (100) of the invention. In a cutting and shaping apparatus (100), there is a base (20) arranged on at least two legs (10) and a slide (30) positioned perpendicularly and oppositely to each other on said base (20). At least one plate (40) is provided on the said slide (30), which is connected so as to move in direction A (A) and direction B (B), and a plurality of cutters (50) are provided on the said plate (40). The multiple cutters (50) are connected to the plate (40) using bolted and connection elements (80). The cutting and shaping apparatus (100) includes at least one handle (60) for moving the plate (40) in direction A (A) and in direction B (B). At least one support (70) element is used to connect the handle (60) to the base (20) and to provide a rigid configuration. The most important feature of the invention is that said cutting and shaping apparatus (100) assembly is made of stainless-steel material.

A cutting and shaping apparatus (100) of the invention is used by the user by applying forces on the handle (60) in direction A (A) and in direction B (B). When a force is applied to the handle (60) in direction A (A), the plate (40) slides on the slide (30) positioned perpendicular to the base (20) and opposite each other. Thus, a plurality of cutter (50) elements on the plate (40) and therefore on the plate (40) rise upwards. When the plate (40) is in the up position, the onion is cut into the product placement area on the base (20), and desired to be shaped is placed.

After the onion is placed in the product placement area on the base (20), the handle (60) is moved in direction B (B). With the movement of the handle in the direction B (B), the plate (40) slides down on the slide (30) and exerts pressure on the onion, and the plurality of cutters (50) cut the onion into a flower shape. In addition, with the plate (40) hitting the onionreleasing element (90), the onion pieces remaining on the cutter (50) also fall and the cutter (50) is cleaned. The process of giving a flower shape to the cut and onion in question takes place in a single move and in a very practical way. With the help of a knife, it is not possible to give the flower shape in question properly and in a very short time. In addition, injuries may occur during the flowering of the onion using tools such as knives.

A cutting and shaping apparatus (100) is produced with twisted stainless-steel hair obtained by the twisting method, unlike the flower bulb apparatus found in the present art and produced by the casting method. Thus, it is ensured that the cutting and shaping apparatus (100) is light and easily transported and moved. In addition, flower onion apparatuses produced by the casting method are made of aluminum, which is known to be incompatible with food. The use of stainless sheets and the production of a cutting and shaping apparatus (100) with the bending method overcome all these negativities.

The most important feature of a cutting and shaping apparatus (100) of the invention is that all elements constituting the cutting and shaping apparatus (100) are made of stainless material. As the elements of the invention are made of stainless material, the apparatus can be used for many years. In addition, since it contains a structure that comes into direct contact with food, it is healthy for the user to provide the cutting and shaping apparatus (100) from stainless material. In addition, all parts are made of stainless material, so that the entire body of the apparatus can be washed and cleaned.

The protection scope of the invention is specified in the appended claims and cannot be strictly limited to those explained in this detailed description for illustrative purposes. It is evident that a person skilled in the art may exhibit similar embodiments in light of the foregoing without departing from the main theme of the invention.
