Abstract:

A cutting tool replacement member A comprising a lower surface 2 serving as a seating surface, an upper surface 1 opposing the lower surface, and a side surface 3 connected to the upper surface 1 and the lower surface 2. The upper surface 1, as viewed from above, includes a reference-side ridge portion 11 and an inclined-side ridge portion 12 inclined with respect to the reference-side ridge portion 11 which are provided at an intersecting portion of the upper surface 1 and the side surface 3. The side surface 3 includes a first side surface portion 31 connected to the reference-side ridge portion 11 of the upper surface 1, and a second side surface portion 32 connected to the inclined-side ridge portion 12 of the upper surface 1. At least one of the first side surface portion 31 and the second side surface portion 32 is formed with an extension portion which, as viewed from above, protrudes outward beyond the reference-side ridge portion 11 or the inclined-side ridge portion 12.
