Abstract:
A CVVL valve lift measurement apparatus and a measurement method. The apparatus comprises a dynamometer (1), an engine (2), a measurement assembly (3), and a calibration assembly (4). The engine (2) comprises a cylinder body (21), a cylinder head (22), a valve, a crankshaft (25), a camshaft (27), a chain (28) connecting the crankshaft (25) and the camshaft (27), and a rocker arm mechanism (20), the camshaft (27) being configured to drive the rocker arm mechanism (20) to swing to open the valve. The measurement assembly (3) comprises a support (32) fixedly disposed in the cylinder body (21) and an eddy current displacement sensor (33) screwed to the support (32), the eddy current displacement sensor (33) being configured to detect a displacement of a valve in a lift process. The calibration assembly (4) is configured to calibrate a relationship between a voltage detected by the eddy current displacement sensor (33) and a valve displacement. After calibration is completed, the calibration component (4) can be removed, and the crankshaft (25) of the engine dragged in reverse by the dynamometer (1), so as to measure an actual displacement of the valve in the cylinder body (21) by means of the eddy current displacement sensor (33).
