Abstract:
In the present invention, a novel phosphazene compound represented by formula (1), which is useful as a flame retardant for resin materials, can achieve favorable dielectric properties in addition to being able to increase flame retardancy and suppress deterioration of physical properties in resin materials. In formula (1), n is an integer between 3 and 8. R1 and R2 are: (i) each independently an alkyl group or alkoxy group having 1-8 carbon atoms, which may be substituted with a nitro group, an alkyl group having 1-6 carbon atoms or an aryl group, or an aryl group or aryloxy group having 6-20 carbon atoms, which may be substituted with an alkyl group having 1-6 carbon atoms or an aryl group; or (ii) form a saturated or unsaturated cyclic structure that may be substituted with an alkyl group having 1-6 carbon atoms or a carbonyl group. a and b are each independently an integer between 0 and 4. The type of each repeating oxaphosphorin ring-containing structure is independent.
