Abstract:
A compound or a mixture of compounds comprising an aromachemical compound of the formula: (I) wherein (II) is (III) or (IV); R is a straight or branched chain, saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbyl group; preferably, alkyl or alkenyl, having 1-8 carbon atoms; R1 is a straight or branched chain, saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbyl group; preferably, alkyl or alkenyl, having 1-8 carbon atoms; x is an integer from 1 to 8; y is an integer from 0 to 4, and Z is O or S, as well as compositions, products, preparations or articles having improved aroma, fragrance or odor characteristics containing as active ingredient such compound or mixture of compounds.
