Abstract:
Provided is a cyclone separator comprising: a body which is formed with an inflow port taking in while forming a swirling flow out of substances formed from fluids or solids of different densities, an outflow port which discharges a first substance of low density from among the substances, and a discharge port which is formed at the bottom and discharges a second substance of high density from among the substances; a separating cylinder which is disposed towards the bottom of the body and collects the second substance flowing in from the discharge port; and a first guide member which is disposed inside the body, has an external shape formed as a circular curve in the circumferential direction centred on the rotational axis of the swirling flow, and guides the swirling second substance towards the inner wall of the body, such that the swirling second substance is discharged through the discharge port. Consequently the detritus-collecting performance of the cyclone separator is improved and not only large solid particles but even fine particles can be collected effectively.
