Abstract:
Disclosed is a cylindrical brushless direct drive limited-stroke linear servo actuator, comprising: a housing; a stator, comprising an iron core and a coil located in the iron core, wherein the iron core defines a hollow cylindrical cavity; a rotor, at least partially positioned in the cavity and capable of being controlled to move linearly relative to the cavity, wherein the rotor comprises a shaft, and the shaft has a first end extending out of the housing and a second end being closed and opposite the first end; and a detection device used for determining the position of the rotor relative to the stator, wherein the detection device comprises a transmitter fixed on the second end of the shaft and a receiver fixedly positioned relative to the stator, the transmitter is arranged opposite the receiver and spaced apart from the receiver, and the receiver calculates, by detecting the change of a transmitter signal when the rotor moves linearly, the position of the rotor relative to the stator. The actuator is suitable for harsh environments, and has the advantages of low processing and assembly costs.
