Abstract:
The present invention relates to a cylindrical filter for a pyrotechnic device that has a gas generating agent or pressurized gas as a gas generating source. The cylindrical filter has a first annular end face, a second annular end face positioned opposite to the first annular end face in the axial direction, and a cylindrical wall face between the first annular end face and the second annular end face, wherein: at least one of the first annular end face and the second annular end face has a weak section; when the first annular end face has the weak section, the weak section projects from the first annular end face and includes a first annular wall having a thickness less than the thickness of the first annular end face; and when the second annular end face has the weak section, the weak section projects from the second annular end face and includes a second annular wall having a thickness less than the thickness of the second annular end face.
