Abstract:
Provided are a cylindrical porous carrier and a method for preparing same, and a catalyst and the application thereof. A carrier layer (2) of the cylindrical porous carrier is configured to be corrugated or honeycomb-shaped, such that the surface area of the carrier layer (2) can be increased, and the contact area between a gas and the carrier layer (2) can be increased. In addition, the carrier is of a cylindrical structure, and during use, the gas can pass through the wall of a cylinder and then flow out of an unsealed end at the center of the cylinder, such that the resistance of the gas can be greatly reduced. By using the cylindrical porous carrier to prepare a catalyst, the resistance of gas passing through a catalyst layer can be significantly reduced, and accordingly, the operation cost of a system can be reduced. Moreover, the provided catalyst is easily installed, low in cost and has wide application prospects.
