Abstract:
A damper (D) is provided with: a main chamber member (4) provided with an extendible and contractible damper body (1) which has a rod (2) and an outer shell (3), and also with a gas spring (S) which has a gas chamber (G) and which biases the damper body (1) in the direction in which the damper body (1) extends, the gas spring (S) being connected to the rod (2); a mounting member (5) mounted to the outer periphery of the outer shell (3); a piston pipe (6) fitted to the outer periphery of the mounting member (5); a rolling diaphragm (7) bridged between the main chamber member (4) and the piston pipe (6); and a sub-chamber member (8) which is connected to the mounting member (5) and the inside of which is in communication with the inside of the piston pipe (6).
