Abstract:
A damping mechanism, a hinge apparatus, and a foldable electronic device. The damping mechanism comprises a fixing base (20), damping swing arms (22, 23), rolling bodies (26, 27), and pushing and pressing apparatuses. The damping swing arms (22, 23) are rotatably provided on the fixing base (20) by means of damping members (221, 222); a first recess (223), a protrusion (224), and a second recess (225) are provided on the sidewall of each of the damping members (221, 222), and each protrusion has a guide surface (j) inclined relative to an axis. When the pushing and pressing apparatuses press the guide surfaces of the protrusions (224) by means of the rolling bodies (26, 27), the guide surfaces can enhance the effect of pushing and pressing force of the pushing and pressing apparatuses, so that the damping members are subjected to greater pressure, and torque damping received by the damping swing arms upon rotating is improved, so that in a same space, the damping mechanism can provide greater damping force, ensure that the damping swing arms can be stably suspended at any rotation position, and improve the hand feeling of rotating the damping swing arms.
