Abstract:
This dashpot is provided with a main body (D), a cylindrical dust cover (3), an extended cover (4), and an affixing member (5). The main body (D), which has a cylindrical outer shell (1) and a piston rod (2) that can move in and out inside the outer shell (1), generates a damping force that inhibits the axial motion of the piston rod (2) relative to the outer shell (1). The dust cover (3) is attached to the piston rod (2) and allows the outer shell (1) to enter inside the dust cover (3). The extended cover (4), which takes the form of a band wrapped around the dust cover (3), extends from the dust cover (3) in the direction of the outer shell (1), and the outer shell (1) is inserted into the extended cover (4). The affixing member (5) keeps the extended cover (4) wrapped around the dust cover (3).
