Abstract:
A data access system and method, and a device and a network card. In the present application, the method comprises: a client device sending a first message to a first storage device, so as to request that the first storage device can write target data, wherein the first message comprises a logical address into which the target data needs to be written, and a front-end network card of the first storage device has the capability to parse the first message and same can process the first message; writing the target data into the first storage device according to an indication of the first message; and generating metadata, and recording a correspondence between the logical address of the target data and the metadata, wherein the metadata can indicate a physical address at which the target data is stored in the first storage device. Throughout the data access process, a processor of a first storage device does not need to participate, and a front-end network card of the first storage device executes a data access operation, thereby reducing the occupation of computing resources of the processor to a certain extent, and improving the access efficiency of the storage device.
