Abstract:
A data check method and a related device, applied to a memory controller (MC), the MC being disposed in a computer, and the computer further comprising a processor core and a memory. The method comprises: the MC receives a CRC processing instruction sent by the processor core; the MC obtains, on the basis of the CRC processing instruction, target data from the memory; the MC performs calculation on the target data to obtain a CRC value of the target data; the MC sends the CRC value to the processor core. In the method, the MC can replace the processor core to complete the calculation of the CRC value of the target data, thereby saving the computing resources of the processor core.
